Rick And Morty: 10 Worst Things Rick Has Done

Coming just one episode after the Meeseeks debacle, Rick does something so much worse when he infects the whole world with a Cronenberg disease. The consequences of this are so dire that Rick needs to abandon his home dimension, along with Rick, for another dimension where he saved the day but then died in the process. Forcing Morty to burying the alternate dimension version of his own corpse could be on this list on its own, really.

But when you consider what led to this necessity, it gets bumped up to second. Because Morty wants Jessica to like him, Rick gives him a love potion for her. He does clarify his ‘nothing will go wrong’ statement with ‘unless she has the flu’, but Morty is out of earshot by this time.

Also, it’s pretty reckless regardless, considering Morty wouldn’t necessarily know if his crush had the flu. Plus it’s undeniably sketchy that an old man makes a love potion for teenage girl, even if he’s not planning on using it himself.

The following sequence sees the potion spread to everyone through Jessica’s sneezes, turning them all into Cronenberg creatures. It’s spectacular animation, but it has to be high on Rick’s misdeeds.
