Riverdale: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

17. Fangs Fogarty

Riverdale Fangs Fogarty
The CW

Fangs Fogarty was simply introduced as a random member of the Southside Serpents in the show's second season before he became the center of a murder investigation. Though there was still some issues in the story department, fans quickly grew attached to him based on Drew Ray Tanner's endearing performance. And following a surprise relationship with Kevin in the show's third season, it felt like the writers were ready to take a chance on the character.

Unfortunately, he too became one of the many plot devices in the convoluted Farm narrative, only showing up while necessary and disappearing at the drop of a hat (and showing up in storylines that had nothing to do with him because plot device, remember?). His relationship with Kevin was never explored to the extent that it should have been as the pair just became a one-note duo used by Edgar to serve his one-note purposes.

Fangs has real potential. His relationship with Kevin has real potential. But will we ever see any of that explored in the aftermath of The Farm narrative?
