Sex Education Season 3: 12 Questions That Must Be Answered

Otis threw a house party that spun out of control. He got drunk, insulted Maeve and Otis and then had sex with the popular Ruby. When they wake up the following morning, Ruby says she can’t find the condom and isn’t fully sure if they used one.

Fearing pregnancy, they had to the chemist where Ruby tries to make Otis get the morning after pill for her. However, it turns out that Ruby has to get it herself, but not before she’s asked a million questions. During this, Ruby reveals that her dad was recently diagnosed with MS, which adds another layer to her character.

Although Ruby makes Otis swear to never tell anyone about their sexual encounter, it makes you wonder what will happen next. Will they pretend that nothing happened? Will Ruby somehow get pregnant anyway in the worst luck ever? Or will they become friends, even if it’s in secret?

Now that we’ve learnt Ruby’s dad has MS, it seems likely that season 3 will explore this in some capacity. It would be great if it manages to cover what it’s like to have a chronically ill parent or what it’s like to be chronically ill in general.

Hopefully Otis will be there to support Ruby whether she wants him to or not. Some things just bond people together.
