The Simpsons - 10 Classic Easter Eggs You Probably Missed In Season 17

3. The George Meyer Look-A-Like - Million Dollar Abie

Million Dollar Abie is regarded as one of The Simpsons' lowest points, with an assisted suicide plot giving rise to a terrible diePod joke. However, it isn't totally devoid of merit, boasting another of Season 17's references to the show's writers. In the final scene when the bulls rampage through Springfield (told you it wasn't an A-grade episode), one of the fleeing residents is Simpson-ified version of George Meyer, regarded as the most important writer in the whole run of the show. What makes this really cool is that this isn't the first time a Meyer look-a-like has appeared on the show - this same 'character' popped up in a couple of earlier episodes, including The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show and Special Edna.
