In Homer Badman, Homer finds himself falsely accused of sexual harassment and must prove his innocence. He appears on the show Rock Bottom in an attempt to clear his name (unaware that the interview will be edited to make him appear guilty) and he claims to have enjoyed the shows previous episode featuring the Sasquatch. After recording his interview, Homer asks host Godfrey Jones if he can actually meet the Sasquatch. Jones has no answer for such an odd request and the scene ends with the two men sitting in awkward silence. That's all we see. Little did we know that there is a deleted scene where Rock Bottom actually grant Homer's request and send in the Sasquatch. Despite the fact that he is obviously a guy in a suit (the zipper is clearly visible) Homer is awestruck and stares open mouthed as the Sasquatch shakes his hand and tells him that he's available for children's parties. He hands Homer a business card and leaves, while Homer admires the card and declares that he finally has proof of the creatures existence. It's a charming scene that shows off Homers childlike innocence in an episode where he is portrayed so horribly by the media. We really could have used a touch of innocence amongst all that heavy subject matter.
As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG.
I may have a problem!
But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
