Early plot details for The Simpsons Guy suggested Stewie would become infatuated with Bart and his pranks, and while the two share very similar, mischievous characteristics, it would seem to us like a Stewie-Maggie relationship would be more enjoyable to watch pan out. After all, the two babies are extremely intelligent - cleverer than their ages suggest - and have both been shown to have a passion for firearms, with Maggie famously shooting Mr Burns way back in The Simpson's 6th season, before again showing her dark side in season 13's 'Poppa's Got a Brand New Badge', saving Homer from mobsters by shooting Fat Tony with a rifle. We think Stewie would have been pretty impressed - the maniacal toddler from Family Guy who is frequently plotting world domination and scheming to kill whoever dares cross his path. The only issue we can envisage with this plot line is that Maggie doesn't speak, while Stewie can only be understood by Brian - though the writers can surely dream up a way to bypass this flaw.
