Star Trek: 12 Most Powerful Beings Ever

3. Organians

The Organians had begun their existence as corporeal and humanoid beings, very similar to humans themselves. However, this was thousands of years ago and in that time, they evolved into non-corporeal beings, capable of affecting events over vast distances at the same time. They evolved in such a way, according to some of them, out of a fear of feeling pain.

They encountered Starfleet before Starfleet would document any meeting with them. In 2154, they infected two members of the NX-01 crew with a deadly virus to see how they would fight it off and what the rest of the crew would do to save them. They had done this with other Humans, Klingons and Cardassians. Impressed with Captain Archer, they agreed to save Trip and Sato, though removed the events from the ship's memories.

They would then be encountered by Kirk almost one hundred years later, at the dawn of one of the Federation-Klingon wars. Though their homeworld had seemingly been annexed by the Klingons, they simply observed events, uncaring to the point of apathy. However, seeing the destruction that the war could bring to both races and many others, they intervened, forcing the two sides to engage in a peace treaty, the Treaty of Organia.

They revealed themselves in their true nature, displaying their immense power but also their benign nature. It spelled the beginning of a lasting peace between the Federation and Klingon Empire, though there would be slips along the way.
