Star Trek: 20 Worst Episodes Ever

12. Zero Hour (ENT)

CBS

"What the hell?"

Zero Hour would be a perfectly serviceable conclusion to a season-long arc if not for the last sixty seconds, which present the most nonsensical, outrageous, unrelated cliffhanger this side of Farscape's Bad Timing. Having at last defeated the Xindi threat, the Enterprise returns to Earth, only to discover that the planet is now overrun with World War II era planes, and of course, Nazis! (Also, alien Nazis).

This makes about as much sense on screen as it does in print (in other words, none). It would be bad enough if this were simply the cliffhanger ending a single episode, but as a cliffhanger ending a season-long arc, it is difficult to express how unsatisfying the whole thing is. Enterprise fans should thank their lucky stars that the series was renewed for one more season.

As hotly debated as These Are The Voyages... is among fans, it made sense compared to the finale of Zero Hour.
