Depending on the day - this design of the USS Enterprise could easily top this list. It is a sleek and beautiful redesign of the original ship. Matt Jefferies designed both and so was able to update his design, while keeping continuity with his own style.

The shot of Scotty bringing Admiral Kirk for a fly-over while the ship is in dry-dock remains one of the stand-out scenes in the entire franchise. While The Motion Picture has received much criticism throughout the years for its slow pace, it gifted the franchise with what could well be the quintissential version of the starship Enterprise.

She may be relegated to the movies - but seeing her on the big screen is nothing short of a treat each time.
