Think I've made this point in previous weeks but the work being done to flesh out the individual stories of the supporting cast has been one of the show's most consistent plus points. Every week feels like a new chapter in Picard's story, but by dedicating just a few minutes (or even just one scene) to the rest of the crew we're fleshing out their stories really well.

This week saw Rios in awe of his Borg crewmates, Raffi desperately attempting to reconnect with her estranged son and, in the process, showing us more about what she's been through since the Synth attack on Mars and, as for Agnes... bloody hell. First we learn that she and Maddox were actually lovers, before the closing scene pushes us into the business end of the story.
