Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 9 - 5 Ups & 1 Down From "Old Friends, Not Forgotten"

5. Up - Cinematic Feel

Because it's the final episodes, the Clone Wars intro changed ever so slightly. Rather than the traditional Clone Wars theme, Old Friends, Not Forgotten starts with the Main Title theme from the Skywalker Saga, accompanied by a new red Clone Wars logo. This change starts the episode off with a more cinematic feel than ever before.

This movie-like feeling sticks with the episode for its entire runtime. Kevin Kliner's score echos John Williams' Oscar winning work from the films, adding to the movie vibe. The episode is also a few minutes longer than usual, again making it feel more like a theatrical film.

For those disappointed with Rise of Skywalker as the "final" Star Wars movie, look no further than Old Friends, Not Forgotten. Watching it on a big screen would make the episode even better.
