Star Wars Rebels Season 3: 10 Most Anticipated Moments

2. The Battle Of Atollon

A concern of some viewers across this season is that Grand Admiral Thrawn hasn’t really been doing much outside of letting the Ghost crew escape a lot, and strangling an Imperial officer. But from the footage available, the end of the season will apparently remedy that with Star Destroyers and orbital bombardment. Have fun with that one, Phoenix Squadron.

In a trailer that maybe reveals a bit too much; there is ship-to-ship combat above the Rebel base planet of Atollon, and the planet getting hit with bombs and Turbo-laser fire. If the past is anything to go by, Rebels likes to ramp things up in the finale each year. And if you introduce Grand Admiral Thrawn and want to top the Vader-Ahsoka duel of Season 2, then something important has to die or get blown up. Plus, the plot of the upcoming episode Warhead is an Imperial droid infiltrating Chopper Base.

Since Rebels currently stands at less than two years from the Original Trilogy and the base on Yavin IV is already established, it looks like Chopper Base is done for. But if this means Bendu is getting blasted into dust, there will be trouble. Because you don’t bomb Tom Baker.
