Stargate Atlantis Cast: Where Are They Now?

6. Rachael Luttrell

Stargate Atlantis Teyla
MGM

Teyla Emmagon was something of Stargate Atlantis's answer to Teal'c (before Ronon Dex came along). She was a fierce warrior who worked to keep her people safe, owning knowledge of the Pegasus galaxy that the expedition sorely need. She is able to inform them of the true danger of the Wraith, while also working to infiltrate the Wraith as well.

Luttrell's real life pregnancy was written into the show's fourth season, and she remained with the show for it's entire duration, returning to the Milky Way galaxy with the city as it uses 'wormhole drive' to get back to Earth.

Luttrell is a Tanzanian-Canadian actress who is also a successful musician. She has a soprano voice, something that was showcased in the show. She has released a jazz album as well, back in 20111, named I Wish You Love. She has appeared in ER (who hasn't?) and more recently appeared in Arrow.

These days, she concentrates on writing and working with her partner on several short films.
