Stranger Things Season 4: 10 Crazy Fan Theories That Could Happen
3. A Group Divided
It’s not just the story of season 4 that looks to be split though, with the ending of season 3 suggesting that the lovable kids we have come to care for are starting to go their separate ways.
The Byers family have moved away from Hawkins with Eleven tagging along for good measure, while the rest of the team are staying put in their hometown. This doesn’t necessarily mean they will be sticking together though, as suggested by some behind the scene images of Lucas playing basketball. Are we about to see Lucas break into the realm of popularity at school, leaving the rest of his friends in the dust?
It’s a story the showrunners haven’t tackled yet which appears to be as old as time itself. When growing up and making the transition to High School you either grow with or apart from your friends, and I have a feeling the rag-tag group of monster hunters are about to get tested in a pretty emotional way.
But regardless of what is said or done, I don’t think the team will be apart for too long, with some or other crisis in Hawkins calling on them to work together and come to terms with the new people they have become.
The rise of Number One, anyone?
