Stranger Things Season 4: Volume 2 Review - 8 Ups & 2 Downs

6. The Cast Knocks It Out Of The Park (Again)

Perhaps the single strongest aspect of Stranger Things throughout its entire run so far has been the casting - there's not a single weak link among the bunch, and the Duffers clearly know how to get the best out of their colossal ensemble.

It's tough to pick obvious standouts from the pack, though as usual Millie Bobby Brown is fantastic as Eleven, Sadie Sink kills it as Max, and Maya Hawke is a hugely disarming comic relief presence as Robin.

Elsewhere Jamie Campbell Bower is exceptional as Vecna, and David Harbour and Winona Ryder clearly relish the opportunity to play off one another once again now that Hopper and Joyce have been reunited.

Though the show is straining to juggle all of its characters and cast members at this point, it's undeniable that everyone involved is giving it their all, no matter how scant their screen time might be.
