Supergirl Season 2: 6 Ups And 3 Downs From 'The Last Children Of Krypton'

1. Supergirl And Cat

As ever, the chemistry between Melissa Benoist and Calista Flockhart was phenomenal here. Hell, both Benoist and Flockhart are pretty much always gold regardless of who they’re on screen with. When put together though, the two usually conjure up some pretty magical moments.

Last week was great in how it saw Cat again serving as a mentor of sorts to Kara, assisting her in some tough life decisions and acting as a stern sounding board. In The Last Children of Krypton we were given more of the same, but we were also given a brilliant, poignant moment between Cat and Supergirl.

Turning up at Cat Co in full tights and cape, Kara got to say her goodbyes to Cat under her Supergirl guise, and it was a scene that felt as genuine and warm as any of the similarly fantastic moments between Cat and plain ol’ Kara Danvers.

Be it to Kara Danvers, Kara Zor-El, or to the audience at home, Cat Grant will certainly be missed.
