Supergirl Season 2: 7 Ups And 2 Downs From 'The Adventures Of Supergirl'

Ups...

7. Cat Grant Hasn’t Lost A Step

Sadly, the cat (no pun intended) is out of the bag when it comes to Cat Grant’s role this season. Unfortunately, Calista Flockhart isn’t down as a series regular for Supergirl’s Season 2, and so she won’t be around nearly as much as she was in the show’s debut season.

Still, in this season premiere we can see that Cat hasn’t missed a beat when it comes to her trademark attitude, sass, and vitriolic digs.

Within her first scene, we see Cat take a shot at Yale University for having George W. Bush as one of its alumnus, she then compares her ranch salad to Kate Winslet in Titanic, and later she even goes on to make a colourful comment about the possibility of Lois Lane having had a threesome with Clark Kent and Superman.

As ever, Cat is great here, and seeing such brilliance from Calista Flockhart once more just makes it even more disappointing that we won’t be seeing this fan favourite character as much as we’d like this season.
