2. Season 3B
The second half of Season Three manages to out-do its first arc in every possible way. Every episode is powerful and full of twists and threats, and the Nogistune (an evil spirit and the new big bad) makes for the most personal antagonist yet. With the Alpha Pack gone, Scott, Stiles et al are drawn into the consequences of their final sacrifice at the end of 3A.
As Scott, Stiles and Allison suffer from sinister hallucinations, horrifying night terrors and new, masked villains, in comes a whole new adversary to throw the group into disarray.
The true power of this season, though, lies in one person: Stiles Stilinski. More specifically, Dylan O'Brien, whose performance is the best the show has ever seen. His ability to play both weak and innocent one scene and twist it to evil and cold the next is a revelation. The graphics and visuals are better than ever, and the stakes have never been higher.
This season also gave us William Barrow, a truly terrifying murderer, and introduced us to Kira and Malia with small but effective sub-plots. And, of course, made the risky decision of killing a character with us since the beginning.
As far as Teen Wolf goes, this is about as good as it gets. In fact, there's only one season that can top it...
