The Chris Gethard Show: 15 Greatest Moments

Stunt shows are often what The Chris Gethard show does best. From answering 100 phone calls in an episode to an hour long song to its 12 Hour Election Special, TCGS embraces lofty, unorthodox ideas that often draw comparisons to David Letterman in his prime. So it is fitting that a piece of the Late Show's former set becomes a part of Chris Gethard's set in an episode that returns to this experimentation.

The bit involves three couples, all of whom met through their interest in the show, getting married in their own lightning fast weddings between commercial breaks. Gethard is the licensed to wed, Shannon O'Neill acts as the father of every bride, the Human Fish is the ring-bearer, Bethany Hall is the flower girl, and Will Ferrell himself plays the best man to every groom, which devolves into an eventual breakdown. 

And through all of the moments that act to heighten the insanity of these brief weddings, there is a real earnest quality that comes through with every marriage. Aside from it being a crazy episode in general, it is crazy to think that a show could be such a part of its fans' lives that they could get married on it. It's even crazier that it is done without much disaster.
