3. Someone Moves Away

It may sound like copying off 'Friends' if someone moves out of the city, but something big needs to happen to justify the Season ending at that point. The gang have very happily lived so close together, mainly convoluting in Leonard and Sheldon's apartment that it would throw a huge spanner in the works if someone was to move away, breaking the group apart. It's already been hinted that there's going to be an issue with the living situation as it is with Leonard wanting to move in with Penny and Sheldon panicking about losing his best friend. Sensitive to his fear of change, Penny and Leonard have agreed that Leonard will stay with Penny one night of the week, but surely this can't last forever. The issue is bound to come up again, and something is going to have to change.
