The Book Of Boba Fett: Everything We Know So Far

2. It's Set In The Same Time Frame As The Mandalorian

In the aforementioned Good Morning America interview, Jon Favreau confirmed that The Book of Boba Fett will take place in the same timeframe as The Mandalorian. This comes as no surprise, given that Boba plays a major role in The Mandalorian and that Fennec Shand originates from that series.

The Mandalorian takes place in the aftermath after Return of the Jedi, so The Book Of Boba Fett will likely help The Mandalorian fill in the gaps between Episodes VI and VII of the Star Wars franchise.

In addition to this, Favreau also reiterated that two of the other in-development Star Wars TV shows take place around this time. Those being Dave Filoni's Ahsoka series, starring Rosario Dawson as the titular Clone Wars breakout character, and the mysterious series known as Rangers of the New Republic.

These four Disney+ shows are rumoured to overlap, with MCU-esque crossovers throughout them, potentially even culminating in an Avengers-style team-up event.

Hopefully, each show is allowed to tell its own unique story to create something special. Seeing Boba Fett weave his way in and out of other characters' shows, while also anchoring his own series, sounds like a Star Wars fan's dream come true.
