The Boys: Ranking All The Main Characters Worst To Best

7. Hughie Campbell

If there was a main character in The Boys, it would probably be Hughie Campbell. After his girlfriend is killed, Hughie is given the opportunity to join the reassembled Boys and get some much needed revenge on A-Train and the Seven. At first reluctant, it wasn't long before he had killed Translucent and become a wanted CIA fugitive.

Hughie is the "normal guy" of the show, an ordinary citizen thrust into extraordinary circumstances and constantly pushed further and further into violence and danger. Learning that the Seven are actually all terrible people hits Hughie hard, and though he remains constantly at odds with his new life, he also knows deep down that something has to be done about them before it's too late.

Sarcastic and increasingly brave, watching him become more and more torn up about the world around him has not always been easy, but seeing him come back from tragedy again and again makes him one of the best characters on the show. Sure, he makes some big mistakes and makes the wrong calls, but Hughie is only human - and is all the better because of his flaws.

Aidan Whatman hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
