7. Season Three Of The Boys Is Already In The Works
Like Netflix, Amazon don't release specific viewing figures, but it's been widely reported that The Boys was a huge hit for the streaming service when it debuted last year. Now, they're looking to capitalise on that in a big way, as a season three has been confirmed before the second premieres next month.
As you might expect, little to nothing is known about that right now, though the cast recently shared a video in which they implored fans of the show to "wear a f***ing mask" if they want them to be able to start work on the series (a sign that the hope is production will start this year for a 2021 return).
It's hard to say whether that will happen with everything going on right now, but a lot of productions are resuming work across the globe, so it's certainly possible. On the plus side, fans will get a big fix over the next couple of months as Amazon has also confirmed plans for an aftershow hosted by Aisha Taylor called Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys. The first episode arrives before the season two premiere.
