Episode: 1x22 - Rogue Air

Combatants: Firestorm, the Flash, and the Arrow vs. Reverse Flash

What Happened: After determining that their own Dr. Wells is in fact time-traveling supervillain Eobard Thawne - also known as the Reverse Flash - Team Flash struggles to deal with the daily duties of a secret vigilante squad while figuring out how to stop Thawne's mysterious mission. When Thawne activates the particle accelerator, Barry and his friends are forced to move their prisoners. 

Despite Barry's summons for help, neither Oliver Queen nor Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein are able to make it in time to help. Fortunately, when Thawne prepares for a showdown with his nemesis, the Arrow and the flaming half of Firestorm arrive for the assist. Between the three heroes, Reverse Flash is soundly defeated. 

Why It Was Great: There's so much to love about this fight. The show takes its supervillain seriously by requiring three good guys to take him down. With Barry zipping around to match Thawne's abilities, Ronnie bringing the pyrotechnics from above, and Oliver using tactics and a good old-fashioned martial art beatdown, it was an all-star teamup worth a replay.
