The Flash: Ranking Every Major Death Worst To Best

This death was incredibly satisfying. The show introduced a new speedster villain. However, this one lacked the wit and intelligence of Eobard Thawne. Zoom is, at his core, an evil person with a troubled past and zero likability. He seems to be a failed attempt at creating a Joker/Speedster for Barry to come up against. And while the Joker works as a great Batman villain, it does not work for the Flash.

Once it's revealed that Zoom is in fact Hunter Zolomon and not Jay Garrick, whom he was pretending to be, fans were eager to see him defeated. They weren't let down as he was dealt an awful fate. The Time Wraiths, who exist within the Speed Force, do a number on Hunter, turning him into a skeletal husk of a body and pulling him into the Speed Force.

Barry is a hero who believes that everyone is worth saving, and Zoom pushed his morals to the absolute limit. The Flash tried stopping him in more conventional ways, but ultimately, Allen knew he had to let the Time Wraiths take him. It's what he deserved.
