The team of Cisco and Caitlin was essential not only to S.T.A.R. Labs and helping Barry, but also to giving the show a lot of its humour and heart. However, there is set to be more to them than meets the eye. In the comics, Cisco Ramon is Vibe, a superhero with the ability to create sonic shockwaves, and later to interrupt the Speed Force and detect alternate dimensions. These powers were hinted at by Harrison Wells, meaning that it will almost certainly happen at some point, and it'd be great to see the show start going down that road in season 2. Caitlin, meanwhile, is something rather different. She's the alter-ego of Killer Frost, a supervillain who has the ability to transmute heat into cold waves, create weapons and defences out of ice, and make men fall under her control with a kiss. The character was very briefly glimpsed in the season 1 finale, and again it seems like it's definitely happening. Whether these transformations occur in Earth 1 or Earth 2 is another matter, but it's something the show can at the very least begin to introduce this year.
