The Flash Season 2: 11 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Fast Lane'

9. Can We Have Joe Punching Someone Every Episode?

Joe West landed not one but two right hooks in this episode, one on Harry Wells and then the other on Tar Pit. Both, though particularly the Wells one, were really fun moments, and it's always good when Jesse L. Martin gets to cut loose a bit. He does really great work carrying a lot of the show's emotional baggage, but he also has some excellent comedic timing, and sells everything rather well. I suppose this question isn't so much about literally having Joe West punch someone every week*, but rather can we have more fun scenes of him, and just more in general. Yeah, basically I'm just a huge fan of Joe West on this show, and hope that he gets to have the serious emotional father arc, but also gets to play around a bit more, and also hopefully get back to the great scenes of him and Cisco this season started out with, which we got a little bit of in this episode. *A weekly segment of Joe punching someone would be a great addition to the show though, right?
