The Flash Season 2: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

11. Firestorm 2.0

As the old saying goes, Firestorm is dead, long live Firestorm. Or something like that€ The premiere of Season 2 kicked off with a bang, literally, as it revealed that Ronnie Raymond sacrificed himself to save the entire world. With Ronnie€™s demise came some serious problems for the other half of Firestorm, Martin Stein. If Ronnie€™s apparent death wasn€™t enough of a shocker, it was equally as surprising when another Firestorm emerged a few episodes later during the aptly-named The Fury of the Firestorm. With no Ronnie to bond with, Professor Stein quickly finds himself knocking on death€™s door. After a close call with Henry Hewitt, Jefferson Jackson turned out to be the perfect fit for Stein, meaning a new Firestorm was created. It€™s just a shame that this new take on a familiar hero shot off into the skies nearly as soon as he€™d arrived. Still, at least DC€™s Legends of Tomorrow promises plenty of Firestorm for those wanting their fix of this hothead.
