The Flash Season 2: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

12. Ronnie Raymond, Rest In Peace

Season 2 of The Flash hit the ground running with the shocks and surprises, and the very first episode of the season saw it revealed that Ronnie Raymond is dead! As Season 1 came to a close and the all-encompassing portal amongst Central City looked to engulf the entire world, it was down to The Flash and Firestorm to save the day. Unfortunately for Ronnie, he didn€™t make it. He did, however, go out a hero as he sacrificed himself in order to save Central City and beyond. The mind of Firestorm, Martin Stein, would survive all of this, but the body of the operation, Ronnie Raymond, is seemingly no more in a move that certainly shook things up for this new season right from the get-go.
