The Flash Season 2: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

4. An Old Flame

When a strange lady called Francine turns up at Central City Police Department to confront Joe West at the end of Flash of Two Worlds, there was an air of intrigue as to who she was. That intrigue promptly turned to shock when it was revealed that the lady was Joe€™s ex-wife, Francine. It€™s a little hard to really look at Francine€™s appearances here without cluttering up this list of 20 with a whole host of entries based around her. As such, I€™ll just try to sum up the majority of the Francine-based shockers in just this single entry. Right, as well as the big shocker of Joe€™s ex turning up out of the blue, we€™d also find out that she used to be a drug addict who overdosed several times, Joe told Iris that her mother was dead, and Joe would then offer the returning Francine a payoff (great police work there, Detective West) before it was revealed that she was terminally ill and may not have even another year left to live. Oh, and for all of these years, Joe West has had a son that he never knew about€ So yeah, when it comes to shocking moments of The Flash€™s second season, Francine West certainly caused her fair share.
