So, yes, Barry's decision. As previously mentioned, the show seemed to flirt with the idea of Flashpoint last year, but didn't go ahead with it, instead giving us the emotional payoff of Barry choosing not to save his mother.

Now, they've went back again and Barry HAS saved his mother, and all manner of craziness should start happening with the timeline (and potentially that of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow as well).

The storyline from the comics sees Barry saving his mother from Reverse-Flash, and then waking up in a timeline where everything is different: Captain Cold is the hero of Central City, Thomas Wayne is Batman, with Bruce dead (referenced by the Robert Queen on Earth-2 news report), Barry doesn't have his powers, Wonder Woman and Aquaman are at war with each other, and a whole lot more.

Obviously there's a lot of that they can't adapt, but hopefully they do go through with it rather than just another quick reversal. I've no idea how it'd all work across the various CW shows, but it'd be bold, exciting, and interesting to see.
