The CWThe Flash has done a remarkable job of maintaining a constant mystery this season. When it finally starts giving some answers to the question of Zooms identity, it immediately takes a turn and gives viewers a whole new question to ponder: just who is under the iron mask? Theres been rampant speculation all over the place, but considering that he doesnt look old or black (seemingly ruling out Henry Allen and Wally West), his apparent blond hair, and the fact that he spelled out Jay all suggest its some version of Jay Garrick. Knowing that Zoom has been operating under the name of Jay Garrick on Earth-1, it seems like that he has, in one way or another, assumed Jays identity. Whether its as simple as using his name instead of Hunter Zolomon, or as messed up as using a face-changing technology similar to Eobard Thawnes last year, it seems likely that the Jay Garrick Team Flash thought they were dealing with is really the one that was being held prisoner this entire time.
