5. She Almost Froze All Of Hawaii
In 1995 a short event called Underworld Unleashed came out from DC which sent ripples through the worlds of nearly every significant villain. In the story, a demon called Neron surfaced, staged a prison break and offered each villain their hearts desire in exchange for their soul. One such villain to take him up on this offer was none other than Killer Frost. Rather than ask for a box of Cuban cigars like the Joker did, she requested the same thing as so many others: more power. Armed with an even greater ability to unleash cold and take in power, she immediately went on a rampage through Hawaii, marching towards its volcanoes in an attempt to absorb all of their heat. Superboy, with a contingent of others, tried to stop her but couldn't even get close without getting frostbite. After freezing everything in her path, they eventually stopped her by dousing her with a truck of liquid oxygen. Nevertheless, it was clear that Neron had delivered, and that her powers had greatly increased.
