The Flash Season 3: 7 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Paradox'

3. Julian Albert

Tom Felton’s addition to The Flash was something that had many viewers excited, and here we got to see Felton debut as Julian Albert.

It has to be said, Felton seems to be an absolutely perfect fit for Central City at this stage of the game. We’ve seen Barry have rivals in love, rivals as The Flash, and people flat-out aiming to destroy his life, but we’ve not seen any real rivals in the workplace to date. And that’s where Julian Albert comes into play.

Now, it seems almost too easy to say that Albert will be the one eventually revealed to be Doctor Alchemy, so we’ll have to see where that plot point goes. Regardless though, his despising of Barry made for some fun-yet-blunt exchanges in Paradox, with Barry seemingly up against a fellow CSI who is every bit his match, if not even one step ahead of him right now.

Felton has proven time and time again that he’s great in the role of the slightly snobby know-all villain with a chip on his shoulder, and this already looks to have been an inspired piece of casting for The Flash.
