The Last Kingdom: 10 Things That Must Happen In Season 4

Fans of the show can definitely expect more battles and bloodshed in Season 4. The Last Kingdom features exceptional fight choreography and easily some of the best battle sequences onscreen. A shield wall bristling with weapons is a formidable sight and the intense close combat is awesome to watch. However, it'd be particularly great to see a proper naval battle between Saxon and Viking longships as Alfred historically built a powerful Wessex fleet.

Champion duels are also immensely enjoyable. No doubt Uhtred as a man of honour will accept the challenges of bloodthirsty Vikings with more shouts of "draw the square!" He will have plenty of opportunities to kill more Danish warriors in the inevitable war between the restless Danes and the alliance between Wessex and Mercia.
