The Office: Every Christmas Episode Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Dwight Christmas
The final Christmas-themed episode in the entire run of the series was actually very funny. Though, there are certain things you do notice watching it in comparison with other seasons, such as Pam's complete shift in personality from season 1 and Jim & Dwight's evolved relationship with one another.
The episode revolves around the fact that Jim is leaving for his new job and wants to indulge Dwight as much as possible to see what kind of whacky (literally) party he will throw. Of course, Dwight's long-standing German traditions are honoured and he winds up cooking food that looks and sounds disgusting, using the spoon that was involved in his birth to ladle the unidentifiable punch-esq alcoholic liquid into cups, and dressing as Belsnickel to either hand out gifts or whack naughty people with a stick.
It is the 'best of the rest' when it comes to episodes that don't feature Michael Scott, and gets by just fine in his absence, though the show as a whole obviously didn't. It also suffers from the absence of Kelly, Ryan and Andy Bernard as some of the best characters in the show's run.
However, there are highlights that include Jim deciding to stay an extra day to be with Pam, and Darryl getting horribly drunk in order to confront Jim, only to find out that Jim has kept his word and subsequently collapsing through the party table.
