From the Evil Dead films to portraying Elvis, Briscoe County Jr. and everyone's favourite cameo in the Spider-Man trilogy, Bruce Campbell has had a long and rather zany career in showbiz.

Why would he work on The Simpsons? Well... why wouldn't he? Campbell is game for self-parody (look no further than My Name is Bruce, where the actor plays a pompous version of himself tasked with saving the world). He can do funny, he can do dramatic, he's got the voice and the personality.

Most importantly, unlike some of the other names on this list, he's probably a tad easier to book.

Best of all, Campbell would be perfect for a Treehouse of Horror episode - especially if an Evil Dead parody would be on the cards.
