The Simpsons: 14 Most Controversial Episodes Of All Time

6. The Simpsons Guy

Technically not a Simpsons episode, The Simpsons Guy was a Family Guy crossover aired during the thirteenth season of Seth McFarlane€™s controversial and frequently cancelled show, but as it features The Simpsons€™ regular voice cast and got the okay from the show€™s executive producers it counts for this list. Considering the usual kind of humour in Family Guy and the more wholesome, pre-watershed content of The Simpsons, a crossover was bound to be controversial and the episode certainly stirred more than a few pots. The difference between the two shows is no more evident than a scene in which Bart introduces Stewie Griffin to his prank calling Moe€™s Tavern shtick. While Bart€™s prank is unsurprisingly tame, Stewie€™s turn taunting sees the tyrannous tyke tell Moe "your sister is being raped." Predictably, conservative America had a thing or two to say and condemned The Simpsons staff for allowing their characters to appear in the more adult-oriented Family Guy.
