The Simpsons: Every Treehouse Of Horror Ranked Worst To Best

Though it starts with an excellent couch gag (featuring horror movie legends Freddie and Jason getting along famously), the ninth Treehouse should probably have been hamstrung by a ridiculous opening sequence based on cult classic horror Body Parts, but it works nicely.

Having Homer ensnared by his longing for hair and possessed by the ghost of Snake proved to be inspired, though it would have been improved had Homer realised he actually wanted hair more than he wanted Bart.

The other two segments are not as strong: seeing Bart and Lisa trapped in an Itchy & Scratchy cartoon is funny (though the real world sequence is much less interesting than it once was), and sadly the Jerry Springer stinger on the end of the final Maggie-is-actually-an-alien third chapter hoprribly dates it. I wasn't even that big a fan back when Springer WAS relevant.
