6. Alexandria, Jesus And The Hilltop
This is something that would likely fit into the TV series pretty well. Our group finally finds a safe zone in the shape of the small town of Alexandria. Inkeeping with how things tend to go down, Rick and his crew take control and things finally begin to fall in place. A plan is formed to start fighting back against the Zombie hordes and a little normality resumes. Whilst not being the most exciting storyline, it helps give the series a grounding following a lot of upheaval. It also leads us to the introduction of another big character in The Walking Dead universe as well as exposing the group to the wider crisis around the surrounding areas. When we are introduced to Jesus (the first of a couple of biblical references brought into the comics) we are also introduced to The Hilltop, and as you can see from the image above, the group have been living in a bit of a bubble. The idea that there are other groups of survivors doing the same thing as Rick and co. had never really entered the main story and instead stayed on the periphery, with the exception of Woodbury. Introducing Jesus and The Hilltop would be a relative no-brainer for the show. It's a logical place to go if the prison falls in Season 4. It would also introduce another very important character to the TV series...
