The Walking Dead: 10 Deaths You Didn't Actually See Happen
6. Mika
One of the series most shocking deaths came in Season 4, when the ever-lovable Mika was killed by her not-so-lovable sister Lizzie. Lizzie was convinced that walkers were simply misunderstood creatures, and held onto their human characteristics even after reanimation. In an attempt to prove this, and perhaps even prove that walkers were better than humans, Lizzie murdered her sister with a knife. She then threatened Carol and Tyreese with a gun, revealing her plans to do the same to Judith. It probably did our weeping hearts some good, not to see the actual activity of Lizzie killing Mika, as I dont think many fans would be able to withstand the sight of Mikas innocence suddenly draining from her body at the hands of her deranged sister. I dont think Tyreese would have been able to stomach it either, considering the toll it took on him to see Mika in the position she was. Seeing her dead body is probably what prevented him from killing Martin, and anyone else, from that point forward. On the other hand, this moment allowed Carol to sink further and further into the new world they lived in, allowing her to come clean about killing Karen and David, and give her the inspriration to kill when the pressure is on, as we saw very clearly when she laid the smacketh down on the people of Terminus, and much more recently, with the Wolves.
