The Walking Dead: 12 Things We Want To See In Season 6

10. Daryl To Man Up

Walking Dead Rick Bloody
AMC

Daryl definitely became annoying towards the end of Season 4. He spent a lot of time moping, and an awful lot of time not doing anything. This continued into Season 5, particularly after Beth decided that she was too stupid to live and ended up becoming the casualty of one of the most ridiculous and avoidable deaths ever seen on the show.

Towards the end of Season 5, his character lost that 'untouchable' status he has always had with the fans. He just wasn't interesting any more, and he sucked the life out of every scene he was in. But before all the Daryl fans storm the WhatCulture office armed with crossbows, he did redeem himself in the Season 5 finale.

The scene in the car was make or break for his character, and he came out unscathed, ready to fight another day, and went some way towards winning back the cult following that had begun to drift. He's also managed to acquire a motorbike - obviously the perfect vehicle for quietly stalking people - and he's found a new lease of life working alongside Aaron as a recruiter.

He's been moping around for too long, so it's time for Daryl to man up and start doing what he was born to do: track people and kill zombies, all while looking cool.
