1. Siddiq
The Episode: "Open Your Eyes"
How it Happened:
At the end of a long day in which he discovered that the source of the illness in Alexandria had been the compromised water system, a contemplative Siddiq was joined by Dante in his room. Though Dante seemed to be comforting him, Dante's nervous tic - clicking his tongue - finally made Siddiq realize Dante was a Whisperer, the two men getting into a fight that ended with Dante choking him to death.
Why It's on This List:
Something had seemed up with Dante all season long, and the fact that he was a Whisperer spy was a pretty fun bombshell. That it came at the cost of Siddiq's life, however, was harsh, bringing an end to a character who had long ago been saved by Carl Grimes only to become a leader other survivors relied on and a loving father.
Of all the major deaths across the show's run, Siddiq's may not have been the flashiest, but it was certainly unforgettable, and will certainly be one of the handful of moments that define season ten when all is said and done.
