The Walking Dead: 8 Dumbest Moments In Rick's Last Episode

6. Anne's Whole Plan

Anne/Jadis has always been one of The Walking Dead's most inconsistent characters (and that's saying something), flip-flopping between villainy and heroics for a good few seasons now. While that's been bad enough to watch play out again this year, the biggest problem with her storyline is that is makes absolutely no sense.

The whole deal with "A" and "B" people she's trafficking, as well as the mystery surrounding the helicopter and where it's actually from, has been kept purposefully ambiguous, no doubt because it's going to form a huge part of AMC's upcoming movie trilogy.

In isolation that's not a terrible tease, but because it's taken up so much screen time without any development or elaboration (and played a huge part of this episode), it's resulted in needlessly confusing scenes and an unfulfilling story that takes time away from Rick in his own farewell ep.

That's all without actually analysing just what Anne's plan was in the first place. She calls the helicopter without an "A", potentially to hijack it or force the driver to take her... somewhere. Who knows, and it doesn't matter because Rick ends up being her "B" anyway. Whatever that means.
