5. It Would Mean True Unpredictability

Related to the previous point, Rick dying is the most inconceivable notion in the show, but if he goes, so many fan theories will be busted, and everyone would be cast into the dark with no idea about the future of the show. It would reinvigorate the show on a crazy scale, and shift the entire direction that the group was head. Nothing would be off the table from then on, and there'd be a constantly heightened sense of peril and unpredictability until the end of the show's run. There are endless possibilities for what could happen afterwards, potentially with a whole new approach from the group, leading to a different spin on the situations everyone finds themselves in.
