The Walking Dead: 8 Reasons Why Rick Shouldn't Survive Season 6

2. It Would Break The Internet

Game of Thrones landed a huge bomb on its fans recently, with a Grimes-level death in the Season 5 finale, and as a result, the fallout has been immense for the show. Numerous fans have stated that they won't be watching, but let's face it... They will. The empty threats to boycott the show won't affect it one bit. Instead, those reactions will garner extra publicity and draw in a larger crowd for the next season to see whether the fan theories about a comeback will actually take place. The Walking Dead could have their own moment like that, and with Rick being the solitary 'unkillable' character, as opposed to one of a scattering of 'unkillable' characters like Thrones, the impact of his death would ripple around the world and prove to be a huge move by the show. The result would probably end in an apocalypse if the brilliantly passionate Walking Dead fans are anything to go by, but it would provide a huge jolt for the series.
