She may have started the show confident and collected, but being a part of the new world eventually began to take its toll. Her final arc, in which she continuously grieves for her lost loved ones and tries to figure out where she stands in the world, is masterful and wonderfully performed by Sonequa Martin-Green.

Her later season relationships with the likes of Abraham, Maggie and Rosita all offered some effective drama, and her final sacrifice was equally affecting.

Sasha was a born survivor who went through the wringer and came up swinging on the other side, ready to do whatever she could for her loved ones.
