3. The Next World
Quite possibly the single most underrated episode of The Walking Dead, The Next World takes place weeks after Alexandria's clash with the walker herd and the Wolves, and follows Rick and Daryl as they go on run for food and other supplies.
Not only does the episode brilliantly introduce fan favourite Jesus, but it's also incredibly funny, charting Rick and Daryl's attempts to outsmart their new foe whilst bonding over terrible music and their philosophical musings about how the universe seems to have it out for them.
But the good stuff doesn't stop there, as it ends in wonderfully sweet fashion when Rick returns home and he and Michonne finally get together. It's an hilarious episode, and its light, bittersweet drama makes it a necessary pallet cleanser following the horror and bloodshed of the last few episodes.
