15. The Same Boat
The Same Boat takes place after the group's attack on the Saviour compound in Not Tomorrow Yet, and turns down the violence of its predecessor to focus on Maggie and Carol, who've been kidnapped by a Saviour outfit led by the ruthless Paula.
There's some interesting developments in the episode, particularly in regards in Carol's growing discontent surround her cold and violent ways, but ultimately it struggles to overcome its lethargic pace and underwhelming villains.
Melissa McBride shines, and the way Paula mirrors Carol's own approach to the horrors of life is at least marginally interesting, but all told The Same Boat is one of the season's most ponderous instalment.
