The Walking Dead: Every Season 7 Episode Ranked Worst To Best

One of the show's most underrated episodes, Rock in the Road follows on from Rick's decision to fight back against the Saviors' tyrannical reign of terror. It finds the Survivors as they attempt to recruit the Kingdom to their cause, and later as they look for a missing Gabriel.

Sporting a much more hopeful tone than any of the previous episodes, Rock in the Road features the reunion of Rick and Morgan, the group's official meeting with Ezekiel, and a series-best action sequence where Rick and Michonne use two cars and a length of wire to mow down hundreds of walkers (spoiler: it's spectacular).

For the first time since the premiere, this episode makes the season feel like it's ready to move and act on the potential of the All Out War arc, and whilst the rest of the season (and much of season eight) would fail in that regard, Rock in the Road is still an undeniable high point with few if any major flaws.
